Dewatering Made Easy

There are many benefits to using a ROWD sled both on or off the right-of-way. The ROWD sleds’ mobility significantly reduces ground disturbance and other environmental impacts to the land used for dewatering.

DEWATERING ON THE RIGHT-OF-WAY

If dewatering is being done on the right-of-way, the ROWD sled can simply be moved out of the way after dewatering is complete; allowing the other construction activities to continue with minimal down time.

DEWATERING OFF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY

Conventional dewatering structures are often abandoned after dewatering is complete causing them to be buried in vegetation and making them invisible to the unknowing eye. The ROWD sleds’ mobility eliminates the chance of this happening, which also eliminates potential hazards and damage to landowner equipment.

DIFFICULT LOCATIONS AND TERRAIN

The ability to assemble ROWD in a convenient location and transport to the dewatering site makes even difficult terrain accessible for efficient dewatering. Once set into place, the ROWD sled is leveled by placing dirt, logs, skids or construction timber mats under the sturdy frame and solid steel construction.
